walkers in the yorkshire dales going along a stone walled path

North Craven Strollers is a volunteer-led scheme in the Settle and surrounding areas of the Craven district of North Yorkshire.

We offer easy, gentle walks of between 30-90 minutes starting in Settle every Wednesday, meeting at 1.30pm in the Millennium Gardens, off Kirkgate near Booths supermarket. About half of these walks involve car sharing to go to other areas within 30 minutes' drive.

Gargrave and Hellifield walks normally meet on the first Thursday and third Thursday of each month but have been suspended for the time being due to a lack of Walk Leaders.

Our aim is to make it a social event, to take gentle exercise while having a chat and often a visit to a local cafe.
