You will get a warm welcome from our Ramblers Wellbeing Walks scheme. We love to explore a range of routes, encourage new friendships and share a well-deserved cuppa following a leisurely stroll around our local areas.  

North Yorkshire Sport take a lead on coordinating Ramblers Wellbeing Walks across the county area. Throughout the years, we have welcomed an extensive range of walkers, incorporating a range of abilities.  

Excitingly, over the coming months, we are in the process of expanding these opportunities, introducing new groups across the region.

As part of our short walks, we actively encourage all participants to take regular weekly exercise, assisting them to regain and maintain their health. Each community walk is led by trained Walk Leaders and move at a pace brisk enough for individuals to feel an increased heart rate and faster breathing.

Join Ramblers Wellbeing Walks North Yorkshire for short, local and accessible walks to help you get more active.

Join your Wellbeing Walks Group

  • Walks are over easy ground and taken at steady pace to suit everyone 

  • Walks range from 10 to 90 minutes in length 

  • At least one short walk a week, starting at the same time and place every week 

  • All walks are accessible on foot or by public transport   

  • You only need to join a group once to access all future walks
