Ramblers Wellbeing Walks in Surrey are coordinated by YMCA East Surrey and supported by Elmbridge, Mole Valley, Runnymede, Waverley, Reigate & Banstead and Tandridge Borough Councils. Our collective aim is to enable and encourage as many people as possible to improve their physical and mental wellbeing through walking and prevent isolation and loneliness.

All walks are led by trained volunteer Walk Leaders across the county and provide a great opportunity to improve your health while exploring your local area and meeting new people. 

Walks aim to be suitable for people of all ages and abilities and our leaders will ensure you walk at a pace that’s comfortable for you. We also offer a number of specialist, themed and tailored walks so please visit our group webpages for more information.

Join your Wellbeing Walks Group

  • Walks are over easy ground and taken at steady pace to suit everyone 

  • Walks range from 10 to 90 minutes in length 

  • At least one short walk a week, starting at the same time and place every week 

  • All walks are accessible on foot or by public transport   

  • You only need to join a group once to access all future walks
