Overview

Come along to join this monthly, free and friendly walk from Halesowen town centre to the Leasowes nature reserve.

The walk takes place on the third Tuesday of each month meeting at 9:45am to start at 10:00am from Somers Square, outside the BID office, in the centre of Halesowen. This is a short walk from the Halesowen bus station and local car parks.

The walk will last between 60 – 90 minutes and be at a pace to suit everyone. The majority of the walk is off road on a flat footpath along the Dudley Canal number 2 where it reaches the Leasowes nature reserve main entrance. At the nature reserve there will be the opportunity to pause and use the benches available before returning along the same path back to the meeting point. Although there is one slight incline the walk is suitable for push chairs or wheelchair users.

Toilets are available in Halesowen town centre in the Cornbow shopping centre and refreshments in various cafes nearby.
