Overview

Join our mindfulness facilitator and health walk leader Tansy, to learn the basics of mindfulness before putting this into practice on a meander around the locality of Nightingale community garden & recreation ground.

The walk will be at a gentle pace with the aim of increasing your awareness of your surroundings rather than on increasing pace or fitness. The walk will last a maximum of 60 minutes and will be adjusted as required to the abilities of the group. The walk is suitable for those who use walking aids.

We will meet on the terrace at Nightingale pavilion, before accessing the pavilion for an introduction to mindfulness practice and then taking a walk as a group.

Please wear clothing and shoes appropriate for the weather. Closed toe shoes are a must.
