Walks are over easy ground and taken at steady pace to suit everyone
Walks range from 10 to 90 minutes in length
At least one short walk a week, starting at the same time and place every week
All walks are accessible on foot or by public transport
You only need to join a group once to access all future walks
Meeting at 9.45 at the main entrance of Newquay Zoo for a slow paced 30-40 minute weekly walk that will start at 10am. The 13 acre site has a circular path which is fully accessible to those with mobility issues, users of mobility aids. The walk is a friendly social group organised by the Health Coaches and Social Prescribers at the two Newquay Surgeries.
You can enjoy spending time outdoors, looking at the animals, socialising with others and meet new people.
Please note that the walk may be cancelled if weather warnings are in place. It will not be running during the six weeks of the school holidays.
The Zoo are letting us walk for free but please note, if you wish to stay and spend more time in the zoo afterwards, you will have to pay.
There is council owned car park adjacent to the Zoo which is charged.
