Overview

Regular friendly group walks often with a cuppa at some point, are at the heart of Walk This Way Wellbeing Walks. This Grade 3 weekly social walk take place in Teignbridge local district areas, often taking in open spaces, parks, woodlands, and nature reserves. Contact Chrystal for the programme 07888844164.  Grade 3 walks are more demanding and longer duration of up to 90 minutes walking, could be on uneven ground and include inclines, steps or stiles. Walks often last longer with pauses to take in the scenery, flora & fauna or simply rest for a moment. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes ahead of walk start times especially if you are a new walker to the group. We recommend wearing sturdy comfortable footwear. A Walker 'sign-up' form be completed before taking part in the walks, either in advance or at your first walk. We suggest walkers carry an ICE card (In Case of Emergency) with information to include your name, your emergency contact name, & their contact number, and any of your medical conditions you wish to share. We provide you with one of these to complete. A register is taken before each walk begins. For further information and forms please contact Chrystal 07888844164 or Chrissie Drew, Green Spaces Projects Officer chrissie.drew@teignbridge.gov.uk or call 01626 215751.
