Hampstead Health Challenging Walk

This walk goes across the Heath following a different route each week, often diverging from the main paths, so be prepared for uneven ground and walking uphill. After about an hour, the group stops for refreshments at Kenwood or Parliament Hill Café, occasionally venturing further afield to Golders Hill Park. Participants can either make their own way home or join the walk leaders to return by a shorter route to the starting point opposite Hampstead Heath Overground station.

Please wear shoes comfortable for walking in and bear in mind that the Heath can be muddy. You don’t need anything special but avoid open-toed shoes and smooth soles.

Booking no longer required. If you'd like to attend this walk please turn up to the meeting point to meet the group. You will be asked to fill in a walker registration form on your first walk.

Walk does not run on bank holidays.
