Merstham Moors & Marshes

You will be welcomed by this friendly group, to join them on a walk on the marshes and around the lakes in South Merstham. There is plenty of wildlife such as ducks, grebes, swans, coots, cormorants and herons. In the springtime, you will see lambs in the surrounding fields. The walk lasts 90-minutes and starts from the Merstham Community Hub/library.

The route goes across the lakes on the Watercolour Development for a little bird watching and then on into the countryside nearby. There are good walking surfaces throughout, with an alterntive route if the path becomes flooded.

The walk can also be joined at the junction of Nutfield Road and Holmesdale Avenue at 11:20

This a mostly level walk from the town of Redhill out to the beautiful Watercolour Lakes. A walk to improve wellbeing and social life. The lakes offer an abundant of wildlife including ducks, swans, and cormorants. In the spring there are lambs in the fields. If you would like more company and a calming walk, this is perfect for you.
The walk does not operate on a bank holiday.

Take a walk around beautiful, leafy Richmond Park. Meet at Richmond Hill Gate, walk finishes at Pembroke Lodge.
This 60 minute walk is over paths, grass, uneven surfaces, and includes hills and descents. The walk takes place every week from same start location.
Please note It is not suitable for beginners or walkers with limiting health conditions. It is for intermediate to advanced walkers.

Felland Copse or Viewpoint

This ancient coppiced woodland is the perfect route for a walk with its hedgerows and many forms of wildlife such a Roe deer, Kestrels, Kingfishers and Jays. Brush up on your knowledge of wild flowers by looking out for wood sorrel, wood anemone and, in the late spring, and abundance of bluebells. Taking the Viewpoint option along Redhill Common rewards walkers with a spectacular view across the Weald to the South Downs.

Bletchingley Way East

Come along and walk with a friendly group from Bletchingley Village hall. This circular walk goes via a sandy track, through the golf course, emerging at a small wood. Following the walk, the group takes refreshments at Bletchingley Golf Club with a choice to sit outside a cabin, or have lunch in the club. Parking is available at the hall. Can also be reached by taking the No.400 bus.

Safely crossing Albert Bridge, turning to walk along the river through the historic Battersea Park, past the Old English Garden and fountains, Bandstand, then passing around the Boating Lake to the café.

Either finish at the café, or walk back through the park towards Albert Bridge.

Wood in Outwood

Outwood Common

On the fourth Wednesday of every month, you will be welcomed by this friendly group for a walk on Outwood Common. Enjoy a refreshing circular walk through coppiced woods and across open farmland.  See the well known windmill, seasonal wild flowers, and crops grown by local farmers. This is a 75 - 90 minutes walk from the National Trust car park. The route is along footpaths, goes through a kissing gate, across a bridge over a small stream, and has one slope.
