Step out from Grenoside for a walk in the woods.

Why not begin your Thursday morning with a walk in the woods? Wheata Wood and Grenoside woods are just a short walk from our meeting point and provide shelter from the sun in summer and from the wind in winter whilst we walk. Every season in the woods brings its own delights from bluebells in the spring to glorious autumn colours in the fall. Our expert volunteer walk leaders know the woods like the back of their hands so routes vary from week to week. Walkers set out as a single group with the option to cut the walk short on request. This walk is not suitable for prams, pushchairs or wheelchairs. After the walk we return to the Community Hall for refreshments in the downstairs meeting room.
