Birkenhead Park Sunday Wellbeing Walk

Join us for a choice of an easy, slow walk or a longer walk in both parks. Both walks are lead by trained friendly leaders and go to the café for an optional drink afterwards. All paths are wheelchair or rolator accessible but keep a look out for uneven paths. This is a beautiful park with a Grade 1 listed landscape and the views are splendid in all seasons. Please dress for the weather, with comfortable footwear and bring a drink. Currently the park is closed to vehicles. You are advised to park in Arthur Street for easy access to the visitor centre.

Living With & Beyond Cancer Wellbeing Walk Wirral

This new walk is aimed at those people who are living with or beyond Cancer but is open to others too. The walk will be led by Georgina and Rhian from the Living With & Beyond Cancer team. The group will meet at Vale House Community House in Vale Park, New Brighton every Thursday at 12pm - 1.00pm. The walk will be approximately 30 minutes in length and will be mainly on the flat apart from a couple of inclines within the park.

Wallasey Village Library Wellbeing Walk

We walk on Monday, Wednesday & Friday 11.00-12noon but not formally on Bank Holidays.
We meet outside the library, St Georges Road, Wallasey, CH45 3NE for a friendly walk at a varied pace to suit all the walkers. We go to the Breck, or Harrison Park and sometimes the beach, but on pavements rather than footpaths. We may go for a drink afterwards to please bring some money just in case.

Wallasey Evening Wellbeing Walk

Join us for a friendly evening walk in Wallasey Village with trained leaders. We alternate routes along the prom and into Harrison Park, or local roads if it's windy! There is a toilet at the station. Sometimes we go for a drink afterwards.

Port Sunlight Wellbeing Walk

Join us for a friendly walk around this ornate historic village with so many listed buildings. The footpaths in the village may be slippery and uneven so be prepared with good footwear! They are not suitable for wheelchairs or rolators. The distance is 1-2.5 miles and with our trained leaders we can adjust the pace to suit you. The route is generally flat but we do walk in The Dell where there are slight inclines. Sometimes we walk further to Port Sunlight River Park. We may go for a drink afterwards so please bring some money, just in case. Cars may be parked on the street a short walk from the start.

Netherton Feelgood Factory Wellbeing Walks

This walking group enjoys a variety of routes around the Netherton area.  We start at 10.00am every Monday morning and walk for 60 - 90 minutes.  We like walking along the Leeds and Liverpool canal towards Rimrose Valley where we enjoy the wide open space.  One of our favourite routes is walking across to Jubilee Woods near the historic village Sefton, you can see Sefton Church for most of the walk.  There is a footpath through the middle of Bootle Golf Course we use quite often to either get to Rimrose Valley or access the canal.  We set a medium pace and we take rest stops when needed, its a great way to start your week.  The routes are pram friendly.

Bromborough Village Wellbeing Walk

Join us for a friendly walk either to Eastham Country Park or Dibbinsdale. The paths may be muddy, slippery and uneven so be prepared with good footwear! The distance is 2-3 miles and with our trained leaders we can adjust the pace to suit you. We walk down to both locations so there’s a gentle slope up for the second half of the walk. We may go for a drink afterwards so please bring some money, just in case. We meet at St Barnabas Church car park CH62 7AB.

West Kirby Monday Wellbeing Walk

Our walks meet inside West Kirby Concourse reception area. You can't miss the us and everyone is very welcoming to any new walkers. We go off as two groups, one is a slower pace and shorter walk, whilst the other group will walk further. We have a wide range of different walks - around the marine lake, up and down the prom, along the Wirral Way, around Ashton Park, along the beach, these are just some of our different and varied routes. The groups then meet back at West Kirby Concourse for coffee and there are also toilets there.

Our walks meet inside West Kirby Concourse Leisure Centre in reception. You can't miss the us and everyone is very welcoming to any new walkers. We go off as three groups, one is a slower pace and another is a shorter walk, whilst the other group will walk further and for longer. Neston Wellbeing Walk

Come and join us for an amble around picturesque Neston & Parkgate.  This circular walk starts & finishes at Neston Library, includes a section of the Wirral Way, takes in views over the River Dee, as well as using local footpaths.  The walk lasts around 45 minutes, is mainly on hard surface pathways with no major inclines with opportunity to take a break along Parkgate promenade.   Drinks are available after the walk at the Library.

Taylor Park

Come along to Taylor Park Walk for a walk around the lake on the park and leading up to the viewpoint on the hill at the park.   Alternatively, the walk around the lake then leads into Oak Wood where you will see squirrels, a variety of birds and fauna before returning to the start of the walk at the boathouse.

The entrance to the park is along Grosvenor Road St Helens WA10 3HX.  Meet at the boathouse beyond the 2 car parks in Taylor Park.

Please join us for some fresh air and a chat on this wellbeing walk in Ellesmere Port. Meeting at Westminster Community Centre we will start walking at 1pm on a Monday. The walk will last approximately 45 mins and take us either up to Lime Park or over to the canal and Boat Museum followed by a drink back at the community centre.

Elton Wellbeing Walk

Join Helen for a free leisurely circular walk around the lovely village of Elton.

The walk lasts 35-45 minutes, starting & ending at the Community Centre.  After the walk walkers are welcome to have a hot drink at the Community Centre Cafe.  Meet at 9.45am for a 10am start.  All walkers are welcome.

Toilets and parking available via the Community Centre, there is also a local bus service with bus stop close by.

Frodsham Wellbeing Walks - Tuesday walks

Two walks are offered each week with the option of refreshments and a chat in the cafe afterwards. One walk lasts about 30 minutes and is along the paths in Frodsham’s beautiful Castle Park. The second walk is a leisurely 60 minute walk along the paths in Castle Park and along the lower paths on Frodsham Hill. We meet every week at Castle Park Arts Centre.
