Overview

We offer a choice of walks in the Firth Park area on Mondays starting from the First Start Nursery in Firth Park. You can choose from a longer walk at a steady walking pace or a shorter one at a more leisurely pace. The routes for both walks vary from week to week. The longer walk for example might visit Longley Park, Concord Park or Wincobank Hill and will include inclines and occasionally some field or woodland paths. The short walk includes Firth Park itself and the immediate area around. We try to keep hills to a minimum but - hey, we live in Sheffield and hills are difficult to avoid! Both walks last approximately an hour. After the walk most of us return to Henrys café in the First Start Centre for refreshments. Henry's outside terrace is sheltered and therefore very popular with our walkers.
