Overview

Forge Dam café is a great meeting point for a walk in the glorious Mayfield Valley (upstream) or, alternatively, in Whiteley Woods (downstream). Both walks provide a feast of wildlife to enjoy along the way. Each week we offer a choice of walks to suit all levels of ability. All walks return to the café after about an hour and, weather permitting, we stop there afterwards to continue our conversations over a cuppa. New walkers are always welcome.

Meet outside Forge Dam café in time to register and start walking at 2pm. If the park benches immediately above the marquee are available we tend to gather there so we don't block the path past the café.
