Overview

This lovely walk shows you Maidstone from the waterside. Meet us outside the Brenchley in Jubilee Square, near the old Town Hall. From there the walk is led through the town centre into Brenchley Gardens and then takes you via the bridge over the road and river to Whatman Park along the river Medway and then over one of the bridges and back to town. Suitable for wheelchairs and buggies with care.

Occasionally the walk heads down to the river by the Archbishop’s Palace, then over the footbridge and along the riverbank to just beyond the Tovil footbridge, returning the same way.

Refreshments are available after the walk from the boat café on the river or the Brenchley.
