Overview

A monthly walk with 2 meeting points, either outside the doctor’s surgery in Wigton at 10am, by the bus stop, or at the bench near the toadstool in Phoenix park at 10.15am.

It is a circular route and will vary depending on weather and the ability of those who come. But may include a walk from Phoenix park down the cycle path, along the road, around Showfields (can be very soggy in bad weather), back to the cycle path, around the new gravel paths, back to Phoenix park then either through the allotments and back to the doctors, or complete the route round phoenix park then back to the doctors, or complete the route round phoenix park the back to the doctors.

There are benches along the routes for rest points, paths are suitable for prams or mobility scooters (Showfields will be missed out for accessibility reasons if they are present).
