wellbeing walkers in a field

A series of walks ranging from push chair friendly to moderately strenuous covering the borough of Hyndburn in East Lancashire. All walks are led by trained leaders and refreshments (and a good natter) are available at the end. All are easily reachable by public transport.

The Tuesday morning (Hyndburn Leisure Centre) and Thursday morning (Arthur Wilson Centre, Clayton Le Moors) 30 minutes strolls will appeal to people new to walking or of restricted mobility, or those who just wish to take a slow stroll chatting with friends.

The Monday morning (Rishton) and Thursday afternoon (Baxenden) walks are more stretching with some rough ground and the odd stile.

The Monday afternoon (CLM), Tuesday afternoon (Accrington), Thursday morning (Ossie) and Friday morning (Great Harwood) provide more challenging walking over varied terrain with some stiles and the odd steep slope.
