walkers in a walled garden

Salford Wellbeing Walks aim to help and support people to become more physically active to improve their health and wellbeing. Salford Wellbeing Walks are free, short, local walks up to an hour in length from the doorstep, covering the rural and urban landscape in Salford.

They are designed to help you become physically active outdoors, improving your health and wellbeing. The walks offer a safe, relaxed and sociable environment in which to walk and are designed to help you meet your 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise each week.

Salford Wellbeing Walks are coordinated by Salford Community Leisure and form part of the Ramblers Wellbeing Walks Programme. The walks are led by trained volunteers and are up to one hour in length, with some walks offering a 30min shorter walk.

Join our closed Facebook group ‘Salford Walking Group’ to find out more about walks going on.
