wellbeing walkers going across a bridge

We have eleven weekly walks - at least one every weekday - from eleven different locations in Trafford. The walks are free and well-led by experienced trained Walk Leaders.

Despite Trafford's suburban setting, we get out to the water parks at Sale and Chorlton - the banks of the Bridgewater Canal and the river Mersey - and the meadows of Stretford and Urmston, as well as Carrington Moss and local parks. Our walkers are constantly amazed at finding new places, paths and greenery right on their doorsteps.

All our walks finish with a chance to have a chat and tea or coffee in comfortable surroundings - we believe the social side is just as important as the exercise.

Our leaders and walkers are friendly and welcoming - and most of our walks offer a shorter and a longer walk. Please contact us to find out more.
