bright blue skies overlooking the Wyre district coast

Wyre Council co-ordinates a series of walks and activities in the ‘Wyre’s Great Outdoors’ programme.

Wyre is a Borough in North West Lancashire, situated between Blackpool, Preston and Lancaster.

‘Walking Wyre’ walks take place every month in locations such as Cleveleys, Knott End, Fleetwood, Hambleton, Thornton, Garstang and Carleton.

Weekly Wellbeing Walks start from Fleetwood, a coastal town overlooking Morecambe Bay and the Wyre Estuary, taking in views from the Promenade, Marine Gardens and the old town of Fleetwood.

Join our trained, friendly volunteer leaders for an hour’s walk and talk. No need to book, just turn up.
