Overview

Join us as we celebrate Local History month and stroll from Carlisle Library to the Castle Street area of the City.  Along the way we will discover some fascinating facts about the history of the buildings in the City Centre and point out some interesting architectural features which you may have never noticed before!

Please note that places are limited and booking is essential.

· A circular walk along pavements, mainly pedestrianised or low traffic around the Castle Street area

· Local history points of interest along the walk

· Wear clothing appropriate for the weather on the day—probably waterproof jackets if Cumbrian weather for May is as predicted but may also need sun cream!
