Overview

A circular walk passing through woodland then through Slindon Park, a Medieval deer park, passing an early Stone Age Raised Beach, then Druid’s Grove where there are still some of the famous Slindon Beeches which survived the 1987 storm, before eventually emerging near Slindon College.

Slindon (BN18 0QY approx) Park Lane CP. GR SU960077 Walk starts from free National Trust Car Park on Park Lane. Follow A27 past Fontwell Racecourse then left at the traffic lights and at the next roundabout left onto the A29 then immediately left into Park Lane. The CP is 550 yards further along on the left
