wellbeing walkers going across a bridge

Active Northumberland and Northumberland County Council are working in partnership to organise short and friendly walks in Northumberland.

Whether you’re a keen walker, at the start of your fitness journey, or just fancy some fresh air and a friendly conversation, one of our walks will be suitable for you.

All of our walks are local, free of charge and range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. Please look at the walk description for your local walk to ensure it is right for you, and if so, simply turn up on the day! You'll receive a warm welcome and plenty of support to make it easier for you to get active and stay active.

If you have any questions, or want to chat about our walks, just ask one of our friendly walk coordinators by contacting us using the 'Getting in touch' button.

We hope you see you there!
